Product Description
A very attractive silver-plated 5-bowl epergne made by Royal Castle of Sheffield, England.
It has a floral decorated round base on 4 feet rising through a narrow decorated belt to a hemipherical support for the 4 arms, which fit into numbered slots, and which carry 4 small glass boels, and a central circular ring which carries the large glass bowl. The slots and arm-ends are numbered 9 to 12. There is a very simple reason for this. Each style of epergne has a different range of numbers so that the matching epergne and arms are packaged together.
Marked under the base: Royal Castle, Sheffield, EP, with a castle logo.
Dimensions: 13.25", total width 21.5", diameters of large bowl 10.5", small bowls 4.9".
