Product Description
A very elegant pair of silver-plated wine coolers of traditional George III form, marked under the base with a double sun-burst.
They are urn-shaped, waisted, with twin floral decorated handles, round gadrooned feet, beeded rims and detachable liners.
These are also made by Royal Castle but, since they are in the style of Matthew Boulton, they have used a rendition of his mark, the double sun-burst. They may be similar in definition but not at all in reality.
Dimensions: 11.25" high, 9.5" across handles.
