A very elegant covered pitcher or ewer in the Greek revival style, by Thomas Bradbury & Son., Sheffield, England. The body is decorated with scenes of partially clad warriors, male and female, in chariots with rearing horses. The base of the handle has an applied bust of a woman while the finial to the lid is in the shape of a helmet.
It is in very good condition, showing hardly any erosion to the plate. No dents or inscription.
