A very impressive pair of '800' silver candelabra by Schleissner, Hannau, Germany, c.1900.
Each has a plain cylindrical column on a round base supporting 3 acanthus and spiral decorated arms around a cloaked semi-nude Egyptian/Greek man who supports the 4th socket.
Both the arms unit, which slot onto the column, and the foot are fully hallmarked: 13 above NH (for Neu Hannau), Schleissner, Hannau.
They are unweighted though there are wooden bases pinned to the feet.
In pretty good condition. A few small dings to the nozzles, one on a leg and slightly bent arms.
Overall, very good for the age.
Dimensions: 20.5" tall, 11.5" across arms. Gross weight 2563 gms/82.4 Troy oz.
