Product Description

A very rare and wonderful serpentine form cruet set with graceful features: a large looped handle with a leaf thumbpiece, paw feet to the bottle frame, scrolled feet to the serpentine gadroon-bordered base.
A mere 4-bottle cruet is lifted into an art form. No wonder Garrard's were appointed the Royal Silversmiths.
The bottles are as close to perfect as one can hope. Very tiny chips to the base. Thery are there but you need a loupe.
Fully hallmarked on the base and the top of the frame. I could not get my camera near enough but there are two small crests, of a man and a bird with outstretched wings. They are on the base below the handle.
Perfect condition. Good patina.
Total height 5.75", length 6.25" and 5.75" deep. Weight (excluding bottles): 16 Troy oz.
