Product Description
A good pair of sterling George III candlesticks made in Sheffield by Samuel Kirkby & Co in 1804. Attractive fluted decoration between the circular bases and the cylindrical columns. What is nice about these candlesticks are the clear hallmarks on the bases and the bobeches, as pictured.
The hallmarks around the base are normally prone to excessive wear, so this pair must have been well cared for.
They are in very good condition. The previous owner even took the trouble to replace the green baize under the bases.
Dimensions: 7" high, 4.5" base diameter. Weight: cement filled.
