Product Description
On offer here is a pretty sterling bowl in a rare early pattern, #171, comprising many of the elements of Johan Rohde's designs. The column is composed of an array of looping foliate strands and bulbs.
It is one of Rohde's early designs. Fully hallmarked under the foot with marks for the period 1915-27, together with the designer's signature.
In very good condition. No dents, repairs or inscription. Just the expected usage scratches, comensurate with age.
Dimensions: 5.5" high. 8" top diameter. Weight 606 gms./19.5 Troy oz.
