Here is a small sterling trinket dish designed by Gundorph Albertus
for Georg Jensen, Denmark around 1945-50.
Albertus was one of Jensen's leading designer/silversmiths and
created some of the firm's more successful ranges. Starting from a
humble background he soared through the ranks to eventually succeed
Georg Jensen as artistic director after the founder's death.
Fully hallmarked on the base; including Pattern #355, Size D and
designers mark.
Dimensions: 4.75" across. Weight 2.1 Troy oz.
