A striking beautiful pierced sterling table mirror bu Udall & Ballou of New York, c.1900.
The 2.5" wide frame is a labyrinth of foliage, scrolls and a repeated duck's head pattern. On the top is a large cartouche which is unmonogrammed.
It has just been totally recoverd in a turquiose velvet.
It is fully hallmarked at the base: Udall & Ballou, Sterling, 1360, 17 in.
Dimensions: 17.25" x 13.5". Total height 18".
